Tioman Paya Resort is a budget hotel at the back of Paya Village, nestled on a secluded garden lined with thick clumps of flowers and trees, while hemmed in by lush jungle, quiet swamps and small rivers. An access trail on boardwalk leads to the resort compound from the village. Providing family accommodation in modern timber chalets, the rooms feature air-conditioning, fans and attached bathrooms with hot water showers. The main building of the resort houses the facilities - a restaurant, bar, dive shop and lounge with snooker table. From the hotel, a short trail leads to the Rock Falls, a beautiful cascade down scenic boulders hidden in the jungle.
Resort was nice because it was surrounded by nature. It's serene and peaceful. After beach activities, the cool clear water from the nearby waterfall was very much welcomed. Food served at the restaurant was nice and the staff were very accommodating and VERY friendly.
